Job description:
- Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 and triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota.
- Managing a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgement.
- Undertaking strengths based assessments and developing outcome focused support plans.
- Completing Mental Capacity Assessments when required.
- Undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations that shape risk planning and outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organisations.
- Applying legislation, policy, and best practice to protect adults from harm or abuse.
- Providing professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
- Strong experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory adult services.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
- Confidence in managing risk and making evidence based decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, proactively, and as part of a supportive team.
