Join our exceptional team as a Leisure Club Assistant, where you will support the team with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the facilities. You will supervise users of the facilities and provide assistance to guests, including completing inductions for new clients to the club.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
- Maintain the fitness center cleanliness and supply, including wiping down machines, taking towels to laundry and removing rubbish.
- Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in the recreation area.
- Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform supervisor/manager of low supply items.
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
- Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
Requirements of the role:
- To be passionate about delivering great service and be guest focused.
- Previous experience in a guest facing role.
- A passion for spa and wellness.
- Attention to details and ability to multitask duties.
- Knowledge of spa booking systems preferred but not necessary.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to include evenings and weekends.
- Experience with handling guests queries and complaints.
- To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.
