Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker and make a real difference. Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside a client with complex needs in Anglesey, Wales.
Pay: £15.40 per hour weekdays, £17.40 on Sundays.
About the Role
You will support a young man with complex needs due to a brain injury, including learning difficulties, epilepsy, PEG feeding and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring condition
- Supporting with daily and nightly routines
- Assisting with personal hygiene and mobility
- Administering medication and monitoring health
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members
Qualifications & Experience
- You are male (client requirement).
- Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in building a trusting relationship with the client and their family.
- Effective and empathetic communication skills.
