Room Leader β Busy Childrens Day Nursery, Bedwas, Caerphilly
This position is 42.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. NMW is exceeded.
The key duties of the role include:
- Managing day-to-day running of the room, ensuring it operates inline with company policies and CIW requirements.
- Supporting a team of staff working under your leadership and liaising with the Management team on a daily basis to make decisions for the children in your care.
- Being a named key worker for a group of children and having confidence in dealing with situations as they arise relating to both staff and children.
- Providing feedback to parents and carers.
In all aspects of work, you should aim to provide the highest standards of care possible for the children. When making decisions, the safety, wellbeing and security of the children in your care have priority at all times.
The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 or 5 Childcare/Early Years qualification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for the role, and the cost of the DBS must be met by the applicant.
