Microspec Ltd is looking for a reliable, multi‑skilled, and proactive Handyman / Maintenance Person to join our team on a part‑time basis. We provide a varied role where you keep our workplace looking sharp and running smoothly. This is a solo role based at our Bromborough site—you will manage your own checklist of tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Repairs & Maintenance – handling day‑to‑day DIY tasks, fixing minor faults, and basic carpentry or plumbing tweaks.
  • Painting & Decorating – keeping interior and exterior fresh, including touch‑ups and minor plaster repairs.
  • Grounds & Garden Maintenance – weeding, mowing, sweeping paths, and general seasonal upkeep.
  • Window Cleaning – regular cleaning of accessible ground‑floor windows.
  • Vehicle Oversight – coordinating scheduled servicing/MOTs and performing routine valets (washing, vacuuming, interior cleaning).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar handyman, caretaking, or property maintenance role.
  • A broad range of practical skills including painting, basic DIY, gardening, and vehicle care.
  • Self‑motivated, trustworthy, and able to work independently using your own initiative.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (required for managing and moving company vehicles).
  • Good understanding of basic workplace safety.
