We have an opportunity for a Clinical Support Worker to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team. The successful candidate will work in support of and under the direction of a Pre-Operative Assessment Department, providing nursing care and assistance to patients within defined parameters specified by the Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse.

  • Provide and support patients as necessary with both personal and clinical care activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of the patient’s care, documenting as appropriate on the Electronic Patient Record (Cerner) in line with Trust, professional and departmental guidelines.
  • Observe patients and report any changes to a Registered professional for review.
  • Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
  • Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties within the clinical environment.
