City Centre Campus, Bath as the main base. Term Time Only Mon-Thu 8:30 – 17:00 and Fri 8:30‑16:30 with an hour unpaid lunch. (Part‑Time hours may be available). Interview date 8th of May. Actual salary for 37 hours per week x 37 weeks per year: £22,087.86 – £22,573.30 (Full Time equivalent salary: £26,262.60 – £26,839.80).

Bath College is seeking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Staff to join our inclusive and learner-focused support team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective support to learners with additional needs in lessons and across the wider college environment.
  • Promote learner independence, confidence, engagement and achievement.
  • Enable learners to develop strategies and skills that support participation and long-term success.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to implement appropriate support approaches.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment.
  • Support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
  • Maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements.
