Responsibilities
- Conduct CAT scanning and monitor excavation activities to ensure the area is safe for operations.
- Oversee and guide the movement of vehicles and machinery on-site to prevent accidents.
- Assist the team with general site duties as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with HSG47 guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with the team to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid CAT and Genny HSG47 certification.
- Possess a valid CSCS card.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of site safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying potential hazards.
Day-to-Day
- Perform CAT scanning to identify underground utilities and ensure safe excavation practices.
- Actively monitor the dig site, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to operators and site personnel.
- Assist with general site tasks, contributing to the smooth running of the project.
- Maintain a high standard of safety awareness throughout the workday.
