Senior Radiographer/Mammographer (Bank) Wolverhampton Hospital | Radiology | Bank Contract | Ad Hoc | Up to £35 per hour depending on skills and experience.
Delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, through undertaking a range of radiographic examinations. What's vital is your caring nature. As a Senior Radiographer/Mammographer at our hospital, you'll bring advanced technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you're caring by nature.
As well as a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), you have a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation. Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. Responsibilities
- Have an understanding and empathetic approach to patients and staff alike.

- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting‑edge practices, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
- Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
- Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
- Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
Qualifications
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation.
