This is a non‑teaching role focused on supporting students, staff and families to improve attendance across the academy. The role will manage the administration of pupil attendance systems, including data management and analysis, to support the school’s attendance targets and sustain improvements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration of pupil attendance systems, including data management and analysis.
- Support the school’s achievement of its attendance targets and sustain ongoing improvements in pupil attendance.
- Lead the Student Services and Attendance Team to secure regular attendance of statutory‑age students.
- Meet with students and families and liaise with external agencies.
- Carry out statutory duty of legal action when all other efforts to improve a student’s attendance have failed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working in a school or a similar environment.
- Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good ICT skills.
- Patient, flexible, adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
- Ability to manage own time effectively.
