We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and award-winning premium franchise-approved car dealership in North Bristol, for an experienced Assistant Parts Manager.

The Assistant Parts Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Parts Department within a state-of-the-art facility, supporting the service and workshop teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties of the Assistant Parts Manager:

  • Organising the efficient running of the Parts Department, including workshop counter, trade parts, retail counter, on-site bodyshop, and van logistics
  • Managing stock levels, stock control, and ordering patterns; conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing a high level of customer service face-to-face and over the phone
  • Supporting the service department by ensuring timely and accurate parts requests are fulfilled
  • Leading and motivating a team to achieve departmental targets
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements of the Assistant Parts Manager:

  • Recent or current vehicle parts experience within a franchise-approved automotive dealership
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a parts department
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Proven leadership ability to support and motivate a team
  • IT literacy, with experience using Kerridge or Drive advantageous
  • Full, valid UK driving licence with minimal points
