Asset Care ETP/Engineering Technician based in the Effluent Treatment Plant area, Droitwich. Permanent contract, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days only from 7AM to 7PM. Responsible for asset care tasks and day‑to‑day running of the plant, including refurbishment, greasing and checks on process and utilities equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective handover of information across shift.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to agreed schedules for the specified equipment.
  • Perform weekly and daily checks across the whole plant.
  • Identify, recognise and report machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
  • Service, adjust and repair machinery and equipment using necessary tools in a safe manner.
  • Observe, monitor and escalate any major problems.
  • Support the Site roadmaps for Quality / HS / EMS / Engineering / Autonomous maintenance.
  • Support improvement activities/events within facilities and engineering owned areas.
  • Understand the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business OGSM.
  • Be aware of how current performance impacts the bottom line.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Asset care experience is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a processing environment.
  • Experience of LOTO procedures is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of leading a team.
