Holy Trinity CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated School Business Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher to ensure the effective running of all business and operational functions. We are a warm, inclusive Church of England primary school where our values of Family, Respect, Encouragement, Trust, Excellence and Fairness underpin everything we do. We are proud of our supportive community and are looking for someone who will contribute positively to this ethos while ensuring the school runs efficiently and compliantly.
The School Business Manager will lead on finance, administration, HR and premises, ensuring that systems are robust, compliant and support the best possible outcomes for children. You will play a central role in strategic planning, resource management and day-to-day operations. This is a term‑time only role, and the salary will be paid on a pro‑rata basis to reflect the working pattern.
- Has strong experience of financial management and budgeting
- Is confident using systems such as Access Finance and Arbor (or similar)
- Can provide clear financial information to support decision making
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Is proactive, solution‑focused and able to work independently
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
