Operating Department Orderly - Band 2

37.5 hours per week (to cover 24/7 service) Permanent.

To work in a busy theatre department. Be part of a team looking after patients and delivering good patient outcomes. Cover the needs of the service over a 24‑hour/7‑day rota. Support the hospital night team to deliver emergency care in theatre and maternity.

To undertake messenger/porters duties between the theatres, wards and other departments. To offer support to the members of the multi‑disciplinary operating department/endoscopy team.
