About this job

We offer employees a very competitive 24 days holiday per annum, plus 3 days for Christmas closure (5 day working week) plus bank holidays, plus additional days after 2 years continuous service (to a maximum of 5 days). The Finance department ensures smooth financial operations and the timely processing of payments and income. As an Arrears Recovery Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides crucial services to thousands of customers and tenants.

We help those with complex housing issues, bereavement, domestic violence, mental and physical illnesses by giving advice on benefits and services to help people sustain their tenancies or be free from debt.

Your responsibilities include managing rent arrears and court costs for a designated set of accounts, taking timely action in cases of rent arrears including County Court action, and supporting customers to sustain their tenancies. You will work with a team of about 45 colleagues, including our Money Advice Team, to provide high standard services.
