What You'll Be Doing:

  • As an Apprentice Air Conditioning you may install a heat pump system, diagnose faults, or perform essential maintenance.
  • Interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and system specifications.
  • Safely plan and prepare work, including risk assessments and selecting tools and PPE.
  • Install and connect components in refrigeration and heat pump systems, including pipework and controls.
  • Charge and handle refrigerants safely while minimising environmental impact.
  • Test, commission, and optimise system performance.
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, leak detection, and fault finding.
  • Decommission systems safely, including refrigerant recovery and disposal.
  • Complete job documentation and support handovers to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and site teams.

Training:

  • Virtual learning sessions.
  • Hands‑on practical workshops.
  • Regular support from expert trainers and mentors.
  • You'll be enrolled onto the Level 3 Air Conditioning.
