We are looking to appoint an experienced, commercially minded Senior HR Advisor to strengthen our HR team. This is a key role delivering professional, practical HR guidance to managers throughout the organisation, ensuring employee matters are handled consistently, efficiently, and in full compliance with employment law and company policy.
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will operate as a trusted partner to managers, leading on complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, and performance matters. You will provide clear, risk-based advice, support investigations and hearings, and ensure robust documentation and procedural compliance throughout. The role encompasses both strategic and operational HR responsibilities.

You will support investigations and hearings, draft outcome documentation, and coach managers to strengthen their people management capability.
In addition, you will take responsibility for administering payroll, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. This includes processing payroll data and resolving payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
About you: The successful candidate will have proven generalist HR experience at Advisor or Senior Advisor level, with strong working knowledge of UK employment law and demonstrable experience managing complex ER cases independently. You will be CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum). Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
