We currently have a band 5 vacancy within our team. The successful candidate will work across Trafford Community supporting patients in their own home, residential / nursing home and clinic settings. This post covers adult services, though experience in pediatrics could be considered.
Our caseload includes support for patients with a variety of different clinical conditions, including cancer, dementia, respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal conditions, and age-related illnesses. We work closely with community colleagues across the MDT to provide high-quality patient care.
Strong communication and time management skills are essential to independently manage a caseload, supported via clinical supervision and support from other dietitians and team leads. Team working skills are also key; we take a whole-team approach to supporting and growing the dietitians.
You will carry a general clinical caseload involving assessments and treatment plans for patients in their own home, residential / nursing home, or clinic settings; give clinical dietetic advice as appropriate to support service planning and delivery; and be involved with dietetic student training, supporting the development of the next generation of the dietetic workforce.
