Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored academic and pastoral support to children who are unable to attend mainstream schools in home, school, or community settings.
  • Work with young people via referrals and expressions of interest to provide the right support, rebuild confidence and re‑engage them in education.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • Experience in an academic and/or pastoral capacity
  • Background in alternative provision, tutoring or mentoring
  • Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
  • Empathetic, proactive and engaging approach
  • Enhanced DBS check and relevant professional references
