Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored academic and pastoral support to children who are unable to attend mainstream schools in home, school, or community settings.
- Work with young people via referrals and expressions of interest to provide the right support, rebuild confidence and re‑engage them in education.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Experience in an academic and/or pastoral capacity
- Background in alternative provision, tutoring or mentoring
- Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
- Empathetic, proactive and engaging approach
- Enhanced DBS check and relevant professional references
