Role

  • Carry out high-quality refurbishment of alloy wheels, including kerb damage repair, corrosion removal, and cosmetic restoration to manufacturer standards.
  • Perform preparation processes such as stripping, sanding, filling, masking, and priming prior to painting.
  • Carry out SMART repair work to a high standard on a variety of vehicles.
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and usable condition.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • 1+ years experience as an Alloy Wheel Technician / SMART Repair Technician in the motor trade (main or used car dealerships, independent garages or used car supermarkets)
  • Ideally you will be NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds level 3 or ATA qualified, but we will also look at time served only with a lot of experience
  • Main dealership experience is ideal but not essential
