Programme Delivery

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching across Bronze and Silver programme tiers — covering mental health, autism, safeguarding, communication and risk assessment.
  • Deliver blended learning including classroom, virtual and simulation-based sessions.
  • Facilitate workplace preparation workshops, mock interviews and confidence‑building activities.
  • Ensure all delivery meets CPD accreditation standards.

Curriculum Design

  • Lead ongoing review of programme content aligned to Skills for Care frameworks and sector standards.
  • Design and update learning materials, assessments, workbooks and simulation scenarios.
  • Develop new modules and specialist content in response to commissioner requirements.

Learner Assessment & Support

  • Conduct assessments including written assignments, simulation observations and readiness interviews.
  • Provide constructive feedback and identify learners requiring additional support.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, attendance logs and CPD verification in the LMS.

Employer Engagement

  • Build relationships with employer partners to ensure content reflects real workplace expectations.
  • Coordinate employer activities including workplace observations, mock interviews and vacancy briefings.
  • Support guaranteed interview pathways for completers and track employment start rates.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure delivery meets CPD accreditation requirements and conduct regular programme evaluation.
  • Participate in observations, peer reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain own CPD and ensure GDPR compliance across all learner data.

Person Specification

  • Essential:
  • Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care, Mental Health or related discipline.
  • Recognised teaching qualification — AET (Level 3), CET (Level 4), PGCE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' frontline adult social care experience — Recovery Worker, Support Worker or Care Coordinator.
  • Experience delivering training or group facilitation to adult learners.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Care Act 2014, trauma‑informed and person‑centred practice.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience delivering SWAP, Skills Bootcamp or DWP‑funded programmes.
  • Knowledge of Skills for Care frameworks and CPD accreditation processes.
  • Coaching or mentoring qualification.
