Adult Social Care Network & Short-Term Services Support Officer Job description 37 hours per week Temporary up to one year An exciting opportunity has arisen to develop a career in Social Care administration.

We currently have a vacancy for a Network & Short-Term Services Support Officer, working within Adult\’s Social Care services in Bridgend.

You would provide a range of administrative support functions working closely with Social Workers and Occupational Therapists within Adult Services.

As a Network & Short-Term Services Support Officer, you will assist in providing clerical support to one of our Adult Social Care Teams based in various locations in Bridgend.

You will be confident and pro-active, not afraid to use your initiative, with excellent organisation and communication skills.

In addition, the role also requires good analytical skills, self-motivation and good multi-tasking skills.

Duties will include organising and co-ordinating diaries, communicating with clients and professionals (verbally and in writing), proactively arranging and supporting sensitive meetings, recording information on client records, track and monitor caseload information and extracting information from various sources.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

The council\’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post.

This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
