To provide an effective, high quality administration support to Therapy Services working within the Therapies department.

The Joint Therapy Services team is a forward-looking, proactive multidisciplinary team providing therapy services across the acute and primary healthcare sector within West Cheshire Area.

Responsibilities

  • To partake in a reception and appointment service for all patients attending Therapy Services.
  • To undertake duties associated with the registration routines of Cerner and/or Emis including logging all patient referral letters onto the scheduling system, carrying out the referral action, and making walk-in appointments.
  • To answer the appointments hotline and deal with telephone calls appropriately, including message taking and forwarding.

Employment Details

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
