The postholder is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the admin function. They will also provide support to the wider staff body and help maintain a happy and committed team.
The postholder will supervise and be part of a team of admin staff. They will undertake duties to cover workflow of all clinical correspondence, coding, scanning, managing tasks and all aspects of the registration process.
As team leader, the postholder will oversee the daily duties of the team, allocate work, undertake regular one‑to‑ones, coordinate annual leave in line with practice policy, and support return‑to‑work processes.
With the support of the Practice Manager and management team, the postholder will work strictly in accordance with the practice admin and workflow protocols and timescales. Strong communication and customer service skills will be required, with the ability to adapt to a busy NHS setting.
