Duties of the MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician:

  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations, ensuring all testing requirements are met
  • Carry out mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyre fitting
  • Use alignment machines and accurately interpret readings to make necessary adjustments
  • Perform vehicle inspections and complete detailed inspection sheets following company procedures
  • Identify and communicate additional faults to customers and management
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
