Experienced Support Worker required to join our client in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care, medication, appointments, and health needs.
- Promote safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour, following safeguarding policies.
- Encourage community participation, social connections, and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records including care plans, risk assessments, and daily reports.
- Assist new team members and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Support a clean, safe, and positive living environment.
- Be flexible and responsive to the changing needs of those I support.
Requirements
- Understanding of safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
- Commitment to person‑centred care and promoting independence.
- Willingness to complete training, including the Care Certificate within six months.
- Experience in a care/support role.
- Level 2 Adult Care qualification or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
