What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, observing and analyzing patient behaviours, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

Location: Tydfil House, 46 Merthyr Rd, Abergavenny, NP7 5BY. Tydfil House is a warm and supportive four-bed residential home in the heart of Abergavenny, designed to help adults step-down safely from hospital settings into community life. Our focus is on co-produced, person-centred rehabilitation that supports each individual to lead a meaningful and independent life.
