We are looking to recruit a 40-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 021-branch located at 12/13 Marian Square, Bootle, Liverpool, L30 5QA.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Role Responsibilities

  • Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • Assisting with ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
  • Providing high standard of customer service within a well-established team.
  • Maintaining attention to detail and working under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training courses (e.g., Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing) to progress in the business.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong people skills and an eagerness to learn.
