We are looking to recruit a 24-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 523-branch located at Pendeen Surgery, Kent Avenue, Ross-On-Wye, HR9 5AH. The proposed shift pattern is as follows:
- Monday 08:30-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 08:30-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00-14:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate dispensing and labeling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Maintaining attention to detail, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Providing excellent customer service as part of a well-established team.
Qualifications and skills:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Willingness to undertake training for the recognized Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
