The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.

Permanent contract at our 523 branch at Pendeen Surgery, Kent Avenue, Ross‑On‑Wye HR9 5AH. Regular work 2‑3 days a week plus annual leave cover.

Opening hours for the branch are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00. We require you to be flexible to work within these opening times, demonstrating great people skills and a desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 42p per mile up to 10,000 miles; after which 25p per mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts must be obtained for each petrol station visit and the mileage claim submitted on a weekly basis.

Your main responsibility is to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. Whilst providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. Attention to detail is paramount; you must ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.

You must possess very basic computer skills to plan and print your daily routes in branch before setting off. You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.

You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore, if appointed, your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. The company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.

The successful candidate must have great people skills, work as part of a well‑established team, and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
