We are looking to recruit a 32‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 480‑branch located at Childwall Health Centre, Queens Drive, Childwall, Liverpool, L15 6YG.
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Training and Development
Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Maintaining utmost attention to detail and working under pressure to strict deadlines.
- Providing high standard customer service as part of a well‑established team.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
- Great people skills and ability to work within a team.
