How to prepare for a job interview at Career Change

Know Your Stuff

Before the interview, make sure you brush up on the key concepts of data science, especially those mentioned in the job description. Familiarise yourself with Python, R, and machine learning basics. This will not only boost your confidence but also show the interviewer that you're genuinely interested in the field.

Showcase Your Projects

Since you'll be working on practical projects during your traineeship, be ready to discuss them in detail. Highlight the challenges you faced, how you overcame them, and the skills you applied. This is a great way to demonstrate your hands-on experience, even if it's from your training.

Ask Smart Questions

Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare some insightful questions about the company and the role. Ask about the team you'll be working with, the types of projects they handle, or how they measure success in their data science initiatives. This shows that you're engaged and thinking critically about your potential role.

Practice Makes Perfect

Consider doing mock interviews with friends or mentors. Practising common interview questions can help you articulate your thoughts clearly and reduce anxiety. The more comfortable you are speaking about your skills and experiences, the better you'll perform in the actual interview.
