Job Description
Here you will learn about the basics of health and safety.\\n\\nThe course is delivered online in its entirety through video tutorials, quizzes and presentations. You will be given access to your own learning portal which allows you to study from anywhere.\\n\\nUpon completion of the course modules, you will sit a short, multiple choice quiz.\\n\\nStep 2 – NEBOSH\\n\\nYou will need to decide whether you would like to study the NEBOSH General, Construction or the Fire Safety course, depending on the path that you intend your career to follow. You will have an expert tutor on hand if required.\\n\\nNEBOSH as a governing body sets such high standards that it’s therefore the most sought after qualification not only in the UK, but across the globe.
Becoming NEBOSH certified truly sets you apart from the rest of the field.\\n\\nStep 3 – Risk Assessments\\n\\nThe third step focuses on the practical application of what you have learned during your studies. You will write a series of risk assessments that need to be up to a workplace standard. This is not only to ensure that you have retained all that you have learned, but is also a requirement to gain your NEBOSH certification.\\n\\nStep 4 – NEBOSH Exams\\n\\nThe final step will be to sit the official NEBOSH exams, which we will book for you once you are ready.
The exams can be sat in one of the official NEBOSH testing centres, or online. (Online only currently available for general certificate).Once your exams have been passed, you will be ready to move onto our recruitment stage and start your new career within the world of Health and Safety.\\n\\nYour Job Upon Completion\\n\\nOnce you have completed all of the mandatory training and exams, we will place you into an entry level health & safety role as either a advisor, officer or coordinator, where you will be guaranteed a starting salary of £25K-£40K. We have partnered with a number of large organisations strategically located throughout the UK, providing a nationwide reach of jobs for our candidates.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n• Maintain and manage health and safety polices, safety training and document control systems\\n• Maintain, update and create standard operating procedures and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement safety projects\\n• Ensure all health & safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updated and communicated\\n• Complete regular reviews of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations\\n• Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommend improvements\\n• Conduct safety inspections, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities\\n\\nAt a one off cost of £1095, or a deposit of £162 followed by 10 interest free monthly instalments of £113, this represents a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in health & safety and have a real career ladder to start climbing.
