We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join a progressive and fast-paced IT Services team. Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure, this role is central to strengthening and maintaining the organisation’s overall security posture. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality digital services, while supporting users in a dynamic, service-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily cybersecurity operations, delegating tasks and supporting team members where required.
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve cybersecurity incidents within time-sensitive environments.
- Monitor multiple threat intelligence sources to identify emerging risks, trends, and vulnerabilities, recommending proactive mitigation strategies.
- Implement and maintain security risk management and assurance processes, aligned with recognised security control frameworks.
- Support and promote the secure adoption and use of AI-enabled systems and cybersecurity tools.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Strong understanding of security risk management, governance, and assurance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to remain composed and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
