We're looking for an experienced Senior Community Housing Officer to lead a dedicated team, support tenants to sustain their homes, and help shape innovative housing services.   • Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: Β£38,700 per annum
  • Essential: Driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Previous housing management experience required

About the Role

As a Senior Community Housing Officer, you will lead a team of Community Housing Officers and support the delivery of high-quality tenancy management, empty homes, customer service, and community safety services. Working closely with the Operational Manager, you will help drive service improvements while ensuring tenants receive proactive support to sustain their tenancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Community Housing Officers
  • Managing tenancy, estate, and community issues across your patch
  • Supporting tenants through early intervention and prevention approaches
  • Managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches
  • Building strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies
  • Promoting tenant involvement and community engagement initiatives
  • Monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

About You

To succeed as a Senior Community Housing Officer, you will have experience working within housing, social housing, or the third sector, alongside experience of leading or supervising teams.

You will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of housing management and tenancy-related services
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions
  • A customer-focused and compassionate approach
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
