Join Caredig as an Estates Assistant/Night Concierge and make a real difference in the lives of our tenants, helping to create a welcoming, supportive environment for tenants. Based at Maes Mwldan, Cardigan, you will work 16 hours per week as part of the Estates Team with flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. You will provide grounds maintenance and communal cleaning to a high standard. The Night Concierge cover is an important role within our Maes Mwldan Older Persons scheme, Cardigan, and the position has responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants and staff.

- Pay: £12.86 per hour
About the role
- Maintain landscaped and communal areas around the premises.
- Carry out health and safety checks including fire alarm and equipment checks.
- Identify, report and monitor repairs to the Property Services Team; carry out minor repairs via the handyman service.
- Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling the building; monitor surveillance equipment and access points; permit entry.
About you
- Positive, cooperative and supportive attitude, contributing to service improvements.
- Knowledge and experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
- Understanding of basic health and safety precautions for cleaning duties.
- Ability to work to a high standard unsupervised.

- Previous experience as grounds maintenance, gardener, groundskeeper or customer assistant welcomed.
