A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Swansea. You would be completing Team Leader duties for 22.5hrs per week over 3 days.

Care Cymru has achieved considerable organic growth over a number of years and now provides almost 10,700 hours of care and support each week to some 775 people from our 6 branches and Head Office. We provide employment for more than 530 care staff and office-based staff in several towns and cities.


As a team leader you will be responsible for:



  • To undertake initial assessments for new service users, to ensure they receive person centered care.

  • To promptly report to the care manager any relevant issues concerning the care of service users

  • To undertake the day to day monitoring of work standards of a team of care workers, including specialist teams where appropriate

  • To assist with maintenance of records, in written or computerised format, as specified within procedures or as requested by care coordinators. Specifically to ensure that documentation in the homes of service users complies with Care Cymru policies and procedures and in adherence to care standards

  • Deputise in the absence of the care coordinator and care manager

  • To provide cover in other areas as and when required

  • Take part in an back up on call rota, helping to deliver care in emergency situations


The right candidate will need to be:


We are looking for an individual who is sociable, flexible and committed. Who has previous experience in a care role. Holding a drivers license and having access to your own vehicle is essential.
