CareCo Home Care is currently seeking an experienced caregiver for an ongoing case in Norwich, Connecticut. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable individual with experience supporting clients with dementia and assisting with transfers using a Hoyer lift. At CareCo, we believe caregiving is more than a job — it's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through personalized, one‑on‑one care in a home setting.

Schedule: Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with daily routines and personal care
  • Safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
  • Dementia care and redirection support
  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
  • Mobility and positioning support
  • Light housekeeping
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Communicating updates with the CareCo team

Requirements:

  • Experience with dementia care required
  • Hoyer lift experience required
  • Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
  • Comfortable working independently in a client’s home
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions

Preferred:

  • CNA certification or prior home care experience
