CareCo Home Care is currently seeking an experienced caregiver for an ongoing case in Norwich, Connecticut. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable individual with experience supporting clients with dementia and assisting with transfers using a Hoyer lift. Schedule: Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with daily routines and personal care
- Safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Dementia care and redirection support
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed
- Mobility and positioning support
- Light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Communicating updates with the CareCo team
Requirements:
- Experience with dementia care required
- Hoyer lift experience required
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently in a client’s home
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
Preferred:
- CNA certification or prior home care experience
