Care4You (D&G) Limited is a growing, locally based home care provider supporting individuals to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.
We are looking for caring, compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Home Care Support Workers to join our friendly team across Annandale and Eskdale.
We offer flexible working opportunities, including regular rota patterns and bank positions, depending on service requirements and availability.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing person-centred care and support in service users' homes.
- Assisting with personal care, dressing and daily routines.
- Supporting mobility, independence and wellbeing.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration.
- Providing medication support in accordance with training and care plans.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Communicating effectively with service users, families and colleagues.
- Following safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, patient and professional approach.
- Reliability and a commitment to agreed shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undertake training and professional development.
- Ability to work independently and follow individual care plans.
- A full driving licence, access to a vehicle and appropriate business insurance.
- PVG membership and SSSC registration, or willingness to complete the required processes.
Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as induction, training and ongoing support will be provided.
