We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN) to oversee the clinical governance and delivery of high-quality care across complex care packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care for clients with complex health needs in community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across all complex care packages
  • Conduct clinical assessments, risk assessments, and care planning
  • Lead and support clinical supervision and competency assessments for nursing and care staff
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and best practice guidelines
  • Review and monitor clinical incidents, safeguarding concerns, and escalations
  • Support with onboarding, clinical interviews, and inductions of new staff
  • Deliver and oversee clinical training (e.g. tracheostomy, PEG, ventilator care)
  • Liaise with families, MDT (GPs, community nurses, case managers), and stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
  • Support continuous quality improvement and audit processes

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
  • Minimum 3–5 years post-registration experience
  • Experience within complex care / community care settings
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Tracheostomy care
  • PEG feeding
  • Ventilation (e.g. BiPAP/CPAP)
  • Experience in clinical supervision and staff competency assessments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding
  • Desirable

    • Experience in a lead or senior clinical role
    • Teaching or mentoring experience
    • Full UK driving licence
