Pivotal People is recruiting for a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist on behalf of our client in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist multidisciplinary service supporting adults with acquired brain injury and complex needs. The successful candidate will manage a complex caseload, deliver specialist assessment and intervention, and work closely with the wider team to support rehabilitation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist caseload of adults with acquired brain injury and complex needs
- Deliver speech and language therapy assessment, intervention and care planning
- Support communication needs and dysphagia management
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families and carers
- Contribute to service development, governance and quality improvement
- Maintain accurate clinical records, reports and recommendations
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Dysphagia competencies
- Experience working with adults in a neurological or acquired brain injury setting
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience managing complex caseloads and contributing to service development
Package and Benefits
- Salary up to £59,000
- 12-month contract
- 35 hours per week
