We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst to join our Falkirk office, supporting users across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with hybrid working available after training.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, courteous, and rapid responses to user enquiries (remote and on‑site)
- Own technical issues from investigation through to resolution
- Log, track, and resolve tickets in our service desk system
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to improve processes and share knowledge
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Deploy, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, and peripherals
- Trouble‑shoot operating systems, software, and applications
- Support company telephony systems (cloud platforms like 8x8) and mobile devices (MDM)
- Provide LAN/WAN infrastructure support and basic server administration
- Configure and troubleshoot remote Wi‑Fi networks
- Liaise with external vendors and place orders with suppliers
- Travel to other office locations as needed (valid UK driving licence required)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ IT support experience in a busy, multitasking environment
- Broad technical exposure: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, telephony, server fundamentals
- Competent in installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems
- Experience with HP and Dell hardware
- Mobile device support (ideally Intune)
- Telecoms issue resolution (cloud telephony, mobiles, landlines)
- Backup and restore procedures
- Printer support and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable supporting non‑technical users
- Cybersecurity experience (Microsoft 365)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
- Exposure to AI tools or technologies
- Experience with cloud telephony platforms (8x8)
- Hyper‑V environments
