The role: To take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the care home and to achieve an industry leading standard., Provide leadership and effective management for all staff employed in the home.
Promote a caring environment that is delivered according to latest guidelines, best practice, legislative and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.
Ensure that a high level of satisfaction with the service is achieved and maintained as well as maintaining excellent relationships with relatives, residents , purchasers and external agencies to build and maintain a positive reputation in the local community.
2-3+ years Home Manager experience.
Care of older people in a Residential and Dementia setting
Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts.
Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation
Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas

Mowat Court is a comfortable and welcoming purpose-built care home set in the small seaside town of Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire.
We offer personalised nursing care for older people, including individuals who are living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
Our experienced team provides every resident with care that is as individual as they are. We aim to support each person to live as independently as possible, with lots of opportunities for fulfilling experiences.
Everyone at Mowat Court care home is very friendly and we all enjoy spending time getting to know residents, their families and friends. We welcome everyone who comes through our door with open arms! The home is right next door to Stonehaven’s community hospital and just a short stroll away from the beautiful Stonehaven Bay.
