Are you looking for an exciting new role within our Payroll team? Care UK is an awarding winning private care company with over 250 care homes across the United Kingdom. We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

The role: The role of a Payroll Officer is to primarily assume responsibility to deliver the organisations payroll obligations relating to Monthly and Salaried employees in a timely and accurate manner. To provide a specialised central point of contact for support functions, and operational staff for matters relating to payroll. To work with operations in achieving full optimisation of the payroll system relating to employee records, rota management and associated reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking accuracy of payroll data to ensure correct payment and querying payment anomalies
- Liaising with homes
- Responding to payroll queries escalated from the homes
- Assisting Operational staff to use payroll system to full potential
- Data interrogation relating to Employee data to ensure complete and consistent records
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic knowledge of Payroll Legislation and employee entitlements
- Knowledge and experience using all Microsoft packages
- Effective time management
- Attention to detail
