Role
- Leading the kitchen team in the smooth running of kitchen operation
- Developing nutritious and diet-sensitive meals for residents
- Menu design and planning
- Managing stock control and adhering to food cost guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations
- Training, supervising and developing the kitchen team

Qualifications Required:
- Catering diploma (City & Guilds/BTEC), NVQ2/3 in practical cookery and health and safety, and food hygiene certificate level 2 or above.
- Experience in a care home kitchen, stock control and working with a budget is an advantage.
