Whether you have experience within the social care sector, or you fancy a career change, Care Through The Millennium (CTTM) can support you with the training and guidance to enable you to make a difference to vulnerable people’s lives by joining a team of likeminded people as a Support Worker. CTTM was established in 1986 as a caring and supportive residential care provider offering support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions and behaviours that can challenge. The organisation has continued to thrive and now employs over 340 people in our residential and supported living services across South Birmingham and Warwickshire. Many of our valued team members joined CTTM with no care experience and have now achieved care qualifications and promotions into management positions.

We currently have exciting opportunities at our residential home supporting individuals with a learning disability in Kings Norton, South Birmingham.

As a Support Worker you will:

  • Ensure that the individuals who we support lead fulfilling and valued lives and that they are encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Encourage and support the individuals to access the community and take part in social activities and to enjoy their hobbies.
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care, ensuring the individuals' safety and wellbeing at all times.

Working long days, an average of 42 hours per week on a permanent contract your shifts are on a rota basis so you will know in advance to plan your time accordingly.
