About The Role
Role: Home Care Assistant
Location: Ferndown and Verwood
Pay rate: £13.70 - £15.70 per hour
Travel: £12.71 per hour, plus 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Full time, part time and bank positions available
Shift Pattern: Core shift times are 7:00 - 14:00 and 16:00 - 22:00. We also offer flexible evening shifts, including 16:00 - 20:00, 16:30 - 21:30, and 18:00 - 22:00.
As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

This Home Care Assistant role is community-based, and it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

About you:
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
- You will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible in the hours you can work and ability to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- You will hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake one
