Location: 12-14 Gloucester Road, Dorchester, DT1 2NJ
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: 24 Hours per week, including alternate weekends
We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team at Maiden Castle House, our residential care home located in Dorchester, Dorset.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
- Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents' own rooms
- Provide some support to the laundry team to include washing, drying and ironing of residents' clothing
- Comply with all policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations, with regard to cleaning products and use of chemicals
- Work as a team player to create and maintain a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the home
Who we are looking for
- Previous experience within a care home setting is not essential – but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!
- A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
- Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of a larger housekeeping team.
