Night Care & Support Assistant
Location: Kenwith Castle, North Devon, EX39 5BE
Pay rate: £12.50-£12.75 per hour + paid breaks.
Hours: full time, part time and bank available.
What you will be doing
- Delivering excellent person centred care.
- Supporting and encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible.
- Checking on residents regularly and assisting with moving and positioning if required.
- Providing elements of personal care including washing and undressing where needed.
- Building relationships and providing companionship by getting to know our residents.
- Working in a team to create a cooperative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
Qualifications and requirements
- You need to be over 18 years old to join the Care South team.
- Previous care experience is not essential; a full induction and training programme will be provided.
- Experience in customer care or community volunteering is welcome.
- We are unable to offer visa sponsorship or visa switch.
