About The Role
Location: Castle Dene - Residential Home - BH8 0DB
Pay Rate: £11.50 per hour
Hours: 20hrs per week - (includes alternate weekend working)
Shift patterns: 7.30am to 3.30pm & 10.30am to 6.30pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the TEAM at Castle Dene, our specialist, frail elderly and dementia residential care home located in Bournemouth.

What you will be doing:
- Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks for our residents.
- Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day.
- Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean.
- Washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas.
Who are we looking for:
- Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential but be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role.
- Caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.
- Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.
